PINPOINT TEST BG: THE Control Trac 4WD GAUGE IS INOPERATIVE

BG1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Check for recorded IPC DTCs from the self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes : REFER to DTC CHARTS .
- No : GO to BG2 .
BG2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Check for recorded PCM DTCs from the Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes : For all 4WD related DTCs, REFER to FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) SYSTEMS .
  For all other DTCs, REFER to ELECTRONIC ENGINE CONTROLS . TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : GO to BG3 .
BG3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE TCCM SELF-TEST
- Check for recorded PCM DTCs from the TCCM self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes : REFER to FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) SYSTEMS .
- No : GO to BG4 .
BG4 CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU SETTING
- In the gauge display mode, check the Control Trac 4WD gauge.
Does the Control Trac 4WD gauge display?
- Yes : The Control Trac 4WD gauge is operating correctly at this time. The display mode was not set to correct display mode.
- No : INSTALL a new IPC . REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
