Removal and Installation

- Remove the air cleaner and the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Release the tabs and remove the air cleaner inlet pipe.
- Remove the 2 bolts and position the degas bottle aside.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Disconnect the cooling fan motor and shroud electrical connector.
- If equipped, remove the transmission cooler tubes bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Remove the bolt, the stud bolt and the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
