Removal and Installation

NOTE: This procedure applies to the front AM/FM antenna cable only. The rear AM/FM antenna cable is part of the electrical harness. The cable is only serviceable by overlaying a new component and securing it to the electrical harness. Cut the ends off the existing cable and secure them with tape to prevent NVH concerns.
  1. Lower the glove compartment completely.
  2. Disconnect the front AM/FM antenna-to-rear AM/FM antenna cable in-line connector.
  3. Remove the Audio Front Control Module (ACM). For additional information, refer to AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) .
  4. Disconnect the pin-type retainers and remove the AM/FM antenna cable.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
