Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCH .
  2. Disconnect the hood latch release cable clips.
  3. Remove the LH A-pillar lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  4. Remove the 2 hood latch release handle bolts.
  5. Remove the hood latch release handle and cable.
    • Release the grommet from the dash panel.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
