Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - 5.8L (4V) .
  2. Rotate the Supercharger (SC) belt tensioner clockwise and remove the SC belt from the SC pulley.
  3. NOTE: The SC belt is routed behind the SC belt tensioner.

    Remove the SC belt tensioner bolt, the tensioner and the SC belt.

    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  4. NOTE: For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE  for correct drive belt routing.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
