Normal Operation

When the transmission is in REVERSE (R) and an object is detected In the path of a rear parking aid sensor, a message containing the distance from the object to the parking aid sensor is sent from the PAM to the BCM over the HS-CAN. The BCM sends this data to the rear video camera over the LIN. The visual alerts appear as red, yellow and green highlights on top of the rear video camera image and are generated by the rear video camera.
