Removal and Installation

- Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to the Intake Air System Components - Exploded View, 6.7L Diesel in INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Detach and disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal.
Remove the EGRT sensor.
- To install, tighten to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).

NOTE: Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the EGRT sensor.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
