Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the cooling fan. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN .
  2. Detach the transmission fluid cooler-to-degas bottle hose retainer from the cooling fan stator.
  3. Remove the 4 cooling fan stator nuts and detach the cooling fan stator from the standoffs.
    • To install, tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).
  4. Rotate the cooling fan stator as necessary to release the cooling fan stator from the lower cooling fan shroud and remove the cooling fan stator.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
