Removal and Installation

Remove the rear door push button rod. For additional information, refer to PUSH BUTTON ROD - REAR, CREW CAB .
Remove the rear door push button rod linkage. For additional information, refer to PUSH BUTTON ROD - LINKAGE, HORIZONTAL, REAR DOOR, CREW CAB .
NOTE: When drilling out the push button rod bellcrank rivet, do not oversize the hole in the door sheet metal.

NOTE: Use the special tool to install the new rivets.

Remove the push button rod bellcrank.
1. Remove the rivet mandrel (center).
2. Drill out the rivet.
3. Remove the push button rod bellcrank.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the Heavy Duty Riveter, install the new rivets.
