Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and detach the pin-type retainer from the frame.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bolts and detach the harness from the radius arm.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  4. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  5. NOTE: Make sure the wheel speed sensor harness is correctly routed to prevent the brake disc from damaging the harness.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
