Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the disc brake shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT DISC BRAKE .
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and detach the pin-type retainer from the frame.
  3. Detach the wheel speed sensor harness from the radius arm.
  4. Remove the 3 wheel speed sensor harness bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  5. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
  6. NOTE: Make sure the wheel speed sensor harness is correctly routed to prevent the brake disc from damaging the harness.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
