Toe Adjustment - F250 and F350 Four Wheel Drive (4WD), F450 and F550

Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the toe settings.
- Refer to Alignment Specifications for optimal alignment settings.
- If the toe settings are not within specification, go to the next step.
Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
Turn the engine off and, using a suitable steering wheel holding device, lock the steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
Loosen the tie-rod adjuster sleeve nuts.

Rotate the center link to the correct toe setting.
Make sure that the RH tie-rod end is not misaligned, as shown in image 2 in illustration below. Adjust the position as necessary as shown in image 1.

Tighten the tie-rod adjuster sleeve nuts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
Verify the toe settings and adjust as necessary.
