Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the differential carrier. For additional information, refer to DIFFERENTIAL CASE .
  2. Remove the LH differential carrier bearing. For additional information, refer to DIFFERENTIAL BEARINGS .
  3. Remove the ELD retaining ring and washer.

  4. Remove the ELD coil.

  5. Remove the thrust bearing and thrust plate.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
