Pinpoint Test E: DTC B1D55:01

  1. E1 CHECK THE EXTERNAL ANTENNA CONNECTION 
    • Check the connections at the external antenna and TPM.
    • Are the connections loose or disconnected? 
    • Yes  : REPAIR as necessary. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : GO to E2.
  2. E2 CHECK THE EXTERNAL ANTENNA 
    • Install a new external antenna.
    • Attempt to start the vehicle using the IKT from a distance of 100 meters (328 feet) from the vehicle.
    • Does the vehicle start from this distance? 
    • Yes  : Fault Is corrected. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : GO to E3
  3. E3 CHECK THE EXTERNAL ANTENNA CABLE 
    • Install a new external antenna cable. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • Attempt to start the vehicle using the IKT from a distance of 100 meters (328 feet) from the vehicle.
    • Does the vehicle start from this distance? 
    • Yes  : Fault is corrected. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : INSTALL a new TPM. REFER to WHEELS AND TIRES . TEST the system for normal operation.
