Vehicles with the optional premium audio with touchscreen have an Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) that is not connected to the Data Link Connector (DLC). The IPC operates as the gateway for modules on the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) to communicate with the scan tool over the HS-CAN.
