Removal and Installation

WARNING: Always tighten the child safety seat tether anchor/bolt to specification. Failure to follow this instruction may result in the child's safety seat being incorrectly secured, which increases the risk of serious personal injury or death to the child in a sudden stop or crash.

Remove the rear seat backrest for access to the child safety seat tether anchor bolt. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
- When installing the backrest, make sure the child safety seat tether anchor strap is accessible and not trapped between the seat backrest and cab back panel.
