Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Remove the front door check arm-to-door screw.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  3. Remove the front door check arm-to-body nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  4. Remove the front door check arm.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
