Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
NOTE: If the Power Running Board (PRB) cannot be extracted, extend the running board by hand.

Extend the PRB.
Disconnect the PRB electrical connector.
NOTE: The following steps require an assistant. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.
Remove the PRB assembly front bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
Remove the PRB assembly front bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
Remove the PRB assembly rear bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
Remove the PRB assembly rear bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
Remove the PRB assembly.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
