Removal and Installation

Standard

Remove the front fender moulding screw.
Remove the 4 front fender moulding pin-type retainers.
Starting at the front of the fender moulding, pull outward to release it from the fender.
SVT Raptor
Remove the 5 front fender moulding pin-type retainers.
Using a non-marring trim tool, carefully pry the moulding outward to gain access to the forward pin-type retainers.

NOTE: Pry directly on the pin-type retainer. Do not pry on the fender moulding. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the component.

Using a non-marring tool, release the front fender moulding front pin-type retainers.
- Pry outward on the first front fender moulding front pin-type retainer by pushing the handle toward the fender.
- Pry outward on the second front fender moulding front pin-type retainer by pushing the handle toward the fender.
NOTE: Pry directly on the pin-type retainer. Do not pry on the fender moulding. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the component.

Using a non-marring tool, release the front fender moulding front pin-types retainers working from the front to the back.
- Pull outward on the loose side of the moulding to gain access to the most forward pin-type retainer.
- Pry outward on the pin-type retainers by pushing the handle toward the fender.

Remove the front fender moulding.
- Pull outward to release the rear fender moulding pin-type retainers.
All vehicles
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
