Removal and Installation

NOTE: If installing a new HVAC module, the new module must be configured for the vehicle. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION SYSTEM .

With Electronic Automatic Temperature Control or Electronic Manual Temperature Control Remote Mount

Remove the upper instrument panel storage tray mat.

Remove the 2 upper instrument panel storage tray screws.

Disconnect the speaker electrical connector (if equipped), and remove the upper instrument panel storage tray.

Remove the HVAC module.
- Disconnect the HVAC module electrical connectors.
- Remove the 4 HVAC module screws.

  Vehicles with Electronic Manual Temperature Control Base
Remove the instrument panel finish panel - center, lower. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Remove the HVAC module.
- Remove the 4 HVAC module screws.

All vehicles
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
