Removal and Installation

Standard 

1. Remove the front fender molding screw.
2. Remove the 4 front fender molding pin-type retainers.
3. Starting at the front of the fender molding, pull outward to release it from the fender.

   SVT Raptor 

4. Remove the 5 front fender molding pin-type retainers.
5. Using a non-marring trim tool, carefully pry the molding outward to gain access to the forward pin-type retainers.

NOTE: Pry directly on the pin-type retainer. Do not pry on the fender molding. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the component.
6. Using a non-marring tool, release the front fender molding front pin-type retainers.
   • Pry outward on the first front fender molding front pin-type retainer by pushing the handle toward the fender.
   • Pry outward on the second front fender molding front pin-type retainer by pushing the handle toward the fender.
NOTE: Pry directly on the pin-type retainer. Do not pry on the fender molding. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the component.

7. Using a non-marring tool, release the front fender molding front pin-types retainers working from the front to the back.
   • Pull outward on the loose side of the molding to gain access to the most forward pin-type retainer.
   • Pry outward on the pin-type retainers by pushing the handle toward the fender.
8. Remove the front fender molding.
   • Pull outward to release the rear fender molding pin-type retainers.

   All vehicles 

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
