Glass, Frames and Mechanisms: Notes

The glass, frames and mechanisms article consists of the following:

• Accessory delay relay
• Body Control Module (BCM)
• Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) (if equipped with navigation system)
• Front door window glass
• Front door window regulator and motor
• Front door window top run
• HVAC module
• Power/manual sliding glass panel (if equipped)
• Rear door window glass
• Rear door window regulator and motor
• Rear door window top run
• Rear window defrost relay
• Rear window glass
• Rear window glass regulator and motor
• Window control switch
• Windshield glass

If equipped with power windows, the window control switch:

• is located on each door trim panel.
• can be used to manually raise or lower all windows from the LH front window control switch or the individual side window from the corresponding individual door window control switch.
• can manually raise or lower the LH or RH front window when the corresponding front window control switch is pressed/pulled and held in the first detent position.
• can automatically raise or lower the LH or RH front window when the corresponding front window control switch is momentarily pressed/pulled to the second detent position and released.
• has a lock-out feature (SuperCab and SuperCrew only). When the LH front window lock-out switch is in the LOCK position, the rear passenger windows only operate from the LH front window control switch.

The rear glass can be equipped with an optional manual or power sliding glass.
