Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube LH: Installation

1.

Install the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal. Lubricate the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

2.

Install the turbocharger fitting and oil filter assembly. Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

Install the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal. Lubricate the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

4.

NOTE: Lubricate the cylinder block bore with clean engine oil.

Install the turbocharger oil tube assembly lower bolt in the following 2 stages.

Tighten to 8Nm (71 lb-in).

Tighten an additional 30 degrees.

Install the turbocharger - LH, refer to TURBOCHARGER - LH .
