Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the instrument panel upper storage compartment mat.
    2. NOTE: Instrument panel upper storage compartment with speaker shown in illustration, instrument panel upper storage compartment without speaker similar.

  2. Remove the 2 instrument panel upper storage compartment screws.
  3. Remove the instrument panel upper storage compartment in the following sequence.
    1. Lift upward on the front edge of the instrument panel upper storage compartment.
    2. Pull the instrument panel upper storage compartment toward the front of the vehicle.
    3. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
