Battery Current Sensor: Installation

- With the battery current sensor tape tab pointing downward, position the battery current sensor to the index-mark on the battery cable and secure with electrical tape.
- Connect the battery current sensor retainer to the battery cable.
- Connect the battery current sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable terminal to the battery terminal and install the battery terminal nut.
NOTE:
The battery current sensor must be installed in the proper position and orientation to function correctly.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
