Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor - 3.5L GTDI: Installation

- Lubricate the tip and thread area of the new FRP sensor with clean engine oil prior to installation.
- Install the FRP sensor.
- To install, tighten to 42 Nm (31 lb-ft).
- Connect the FRP sensor electrical connector.
- Install the intake manifold. For additional information, REFER to ENGINE - 3.5L GTDI .
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, REFER to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
NOTE:
During repair procedure, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning or removing components that enters the fuel supply passages may cause engine failure.
