Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) consists of the following components:
- Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT)
- PATS transceiver
- Body Control Module (BCM)
- PCM
PATS protects the vehicle from theft by preventing the engine from starting unless a programmed key is used.
