Hood Alignment

- Raise and support the hood.
- Loosen the lower hood hinge bolts so the hood will move slightly.
- Lower the hood and position the hood for correct and proper fit. For additional information, refer to Margins in BODY REPAIRS .
- Tighten the hood hinge-to-body bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Adjust the hood height using the adjustable hood bumpers until the hood fits flush with the fenders. Check the hood for correct latching and if necessary, adjust the hood latch.
