Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, REFER to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Disconnect the upper door latch actuating cable from the interior door handle.
  3. Remove the interior door handle actuating cable from the guide clips.
  4. Remove the 3 upper door latch bolts and the upper door latch.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
