Removal and Installation

NOTE:
40 percent seat shown in illustration, 60 percent similar.
- Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - REAR, CREW CAB, 40 PERCENT or SEAT - REAR, CREW CAB, 60 PERCENT .
- If equipped, pry up to release the retainers and remove the accessory hook from the cushion bottom side.
- Pry up to release the retainers and remove the latch bezel from the cushion bottom side.
- Remove the screw and outboard side shield.
- Detach the latch cable clamp.
- Rotate cable end to align with the slot in the clamp.
- Pull the cable end through the slot and separate from the clamp.
- If equipped, disconnect the cushion heater mat electrical connector.
- Release the J-clip(s) and partially invert the cushion cover.
- For 60 percent seat, remove the hog ring from the safety belt buckle sleeve.
- Route the latch release cable through the cushion cover flap.
- Remove all the hog rings and cushion cover.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the lower anchors and tethers for children are accessible.
NOTE:
Use care when separating the seat cushion cover from the hook-and-loop strip or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the foam pad.
