Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and location, refer to SEAT - EXPLODED VIEW, REAR, SUPERCAB .

Remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEAT - REAR, SUPERCAB .
Push the release buttons and remove the 3 head restraints.
Remove and discard the 6 head restraint guide sleeves. For additional information, refer to HEAD RESTRAINT GUIDE SLEEVE .
- To install, install 6 new head restraint guide sleeves.
Release all the backrest cover J-clips and retainer strips.

NOTE: Use care when separating the backrest cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the foam pad.

Invert the backrest cover and separate the hook-and-loop strips.
Remove the hog rings and backrest cover.
- If required, remove the hog rings from the backrest frame and separate from the foam pad.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
