Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and location, refer to SEAT - EXPLODED VIEW, REAR, CREW CAB  .
  1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - REAR, CREW CAB, 40 PERCENT  or SEAT - REAR, CREW CAB, 60 PERCENT  .
  2. Remove the 2 screws and inboard side shield.
  3. Remove the screw and outboard side shield.
    • If detached, return the retainer clip to the side shield before installation.
  4. If equipped, disconnect the cushion heater mat electrical connector.
  5. Remove the 2 backrest pivot bolts and backrest.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  6. To install, reverse the installation procedure.
