Seat - Front, Center: Removal

WARNING: Do not handle, move or change the original horizontal mounting position of the restraints control module (RCM) while the RCM is connected and the ignition switch is ON. Failure to follow this instruction may result in the accidental deployment of the Safety Canopy® and cause serious personal injury or death.

NOTE: The pedestal used for the front center seat and floor console mounting contains press fit washers and spacers designed to prevent corrosion at the front center seat and floor console mounting areas. Do not remove these parts from the pedestal during service and make sure they are correctly positioned before installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in severe corrosion damage to mounting areas and fasteners.

All seats

If equipped, disconnect the power point electrical connector.
- For access, raise the cushion and remove the storage tray.
  - Release the retainers at the rear edge and pull rearward to unhook and remove.
Position the outboard front seats as needed to access and remove the 4 seat mounting bolts.
Remove the seat.
Seat pedestal removal
Remove the front seats. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT .
Remove the 2 front and 2 rear pedestal bolts and pedestal.
- Install any washers or spacers that separate from the pedestal.
