Seat - Front, Center: Installation

NOTE:
Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
- If removed, install the pedestal and the 2 front and 2 rear pedestal bolts.
- Make sure the 2 spacers are positioned between the floor and pedestal at the rear bolt holes.
- Make sure the 4 washers are positioned between the floor and pedestal at the bolt holes.
- To install, tighten front pedestal bolts to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- To install, tighten rear pedestal bolts to 55 Nm (40 lb-ft).
- Position the seat in the vehicle and install the 4 seat mounting bolts.
- To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- If equipped, connect the power point electrical connector and install the storage tray.
- If removed, install the front seats. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT .
NOTE:
Use care when removing and installing the pedestal to avoid damage to the Restraints Control Module (RCM) and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) electrical wiring.
