Removal and Installation

Both sides

Pull upward to release the scuff plate clips and remove the front door scuff plate.
- Detach the scuff plate from the weatherstrip.

LH side
Remove the cowl trim panel.
RH side
Remove the fuse panel access door.

Remove the pin-type retainer from the cowl trim panel.

Both sides
Remove the cowl trim panel.

NOTE: Make sure the cowl side trim panel J-hook is correctly installed.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
