Wheel Speed Sensor Ring - Rear: Installation

NOTE: Do not apply any amount of force to the tooth area of the wheel speed sensor ring during installation, the sensor teeth are fragile and can be easily damaged. Apply force only to the inner lip area of the wheel speed sensor ring.

Using suitable adapters, press the wheel speed sensor ring onto the rear axle shaft.
Install the rear axle shaft. For additional information, REFER to REAR DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL - FORD 8.8-INCH RING GEAR or REAR DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL - FORD 9.75-INCH RING GEAR .
