Parking Brake Shoes: Installation

NOTE: Using specified grease, lubricate the parking brake shoes where the shoe contacts the actuator lever and the support bracket.

Apply the substance from the specified tube.

NOTE: Completely retract the parking brake adjusting screw before installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Adjust the parking brake shoe. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTMENT .
Reload the tension on the parking brake cable. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE CABLE TENSION RELEASE .
