Normal Operation

When the off-road switch is depressed, a signal is sent to the TCCM which alerts other modules along the HS-CAN that off-road mode is being requested. Other vehicle functions change to accommodate off-road mode and an indicator illuminates on the off-road mode switch confirming off-road mode.

DTC B12E5:00 (Off Road Mode Select Switch: No Sub Type Information) - When in off-road mode, the TCCM C2371A-12 senses if the switch is pressed for more than 30 seconds or if a short to ground on the switch circuit has occurred.
DTC B12E5:11 (Off Road Mode Select Switch: Circuit Short To Ground) - The TCCM C2371A-12 senses a short to ground on the switch control circuit.

Wiring, terminals or connectors
Off-road mode switch
TCCM
