Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the front bumper side bracket bolts (2 each side) at the frame.
    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft)
  2. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector and remove from the retainers.
  3. If equipped disconnect the blockheater connector pin-type retainer from the front bumper.

  4. Remove the 3 pin-type retainers from the radiator lower air deflector.
  5. Remove the 4 front bumper retaining bolts and 2 nut plates.
    • To install, tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft)
    6. NOTE: The aid of an assistant is required to remove the front bumper.
  6. Remove the front bumper from the vehicle.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Transfer components as necessary.
