The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) contains gauges, informational indicators, warning indicators, warning chimes and a message center designed to provide the driver with system status and to alert the driver that certain conditions exist in the vehicle.
The Boss 302 also features an optional gauge pack with 3 additional gauges mounted on the top of the instrument panel. The gauges are oil pressure, engine coolant temperature and performance. Both the oil pressure and engine coolant temperature operate along with the IPC warning indication and message center displays. The performance gauge is independent of the IPC and measures the following:
- G-force
- 0-60 mph time
- 60-0 mph braking distance
- 1/4 mile data
- dynamic wheel horsepower
- reaction time
