Parking Brake Module: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) may be set when following these steps. This is normal and does not indicate a faulty module.

Carry-out the following steps.

  Place the ignition switch in the ON position.

  Apply the parking brake.
1. 3.
  
  Cycle the ignition switch to the ON position, to the OFF position and then back to the ON position.

  Release the parking brake.

Using a diagnostic scan tool carry-out the EPB Configuration Routine (also known as Apply and Release Test) following the diagnostic scan tool on-screen instructions.

4.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's).
