Pinpoint Test G : U0100:87: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

With the ignition ON, the PCM sends messages to the GWM over the HS-CAN1, the GWM relays these message to the EPB module over the HS-CAN2. If the EPB module does not receive these messages within the specified time frame, the EPB module sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). This can be due to a PCM failure, a GWM failure, a circuit failure on the network or an excessive load on the network. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

U0100:87 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": Missing Message This DTC sets in continuous memory if the EPB module does not receive any messages from the PCM.
