Torque Converter Hub Seal: Installation

If reusing the original torque converter, use an emery cloth to clean the torque converter hub seal material off of the torque converter hub.

Using the Torque Converter Fluid Seal Remover and the Slide Hammer, remove and discard the torque converter hub seal.

NOTE: Pump shown in illustration removed for clarity.

Using the Front Pump Seal Installer, install a new torque converter hub seal.
Install the Pump Remover/Installer Bracket on the torque converter with the pin in the bottom hole.

Using the Heavy Duty Floor Crane and the Pump Remover/Installer Bracket, install the torque converter.

Install the Torque Converter Retainer.
