Park Brake Control Module (PBM): Installation

- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) may be set when following these steps. This is normal and does not indicate a faulty module.
Carry-out the following steps.
- Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Cycle the ignition switch to the ON position, to the OFF position and then back to the ON position.
- Release the parking brake.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool carry-out the EPB Configuration Routine (also known as Apply and Release Test) following the diagnostic scan tool on-screen instructions.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)
