Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) Module

The EPB module is the electronic control unit for the parking brake system. The EPB module monitors the parking brake switch input and HS-CAN2 messages relating to the parking brake system, then directly controls the parking brake actuator motors. The EPB module also sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the event that a system or component failure should occur. For additional information, Refer to: Park Brake Control Module (PBM) .
