Clutch Unit: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Visual check.

    Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset) 

    General Equipment  : Vise

    2. NOTE: Only tighten the nut and bolt finger tight at this stage.

  2. Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset) 
    3. NOTE: Only tighten the nut finger tight at this stage.

  3. Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset) 
  4. Visual check.

    Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset)

  7. Remove the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset) 
    8. NOTE: Only tighten the nut finger tight at this stage.

  8. Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset) 
  9. Visual check.

    Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset)

  11. Remove the Special Tool(s)  : 307-676 (Tool, Clutch 1 and 2 Reset)

  13. If the specified value is under, a new component must be installed.

    General Equipment  : Caliper Gauge

  14. If the specified value is under, a new component must be installed.

  15. NOTE: The component can only be installed in 1 position.

  16. Apply a thin coating.

    Material  : Motorcraft® Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid / XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D2)

  17. Material  : High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant / XL-2

  21. Install the Special Tool(s)  : 307-675 (Fixture, Clutch Remover/Installer) 

    Torque  : 5 Nm
