Pinpoint Test L: U0155

  1. L1 READ AND RECORD ALL DTCS
    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    Is DTC U0155 present? 

    1. Yes: GO to L2 
    2. No: The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
  2. L2 CHECK FOR CONTINUOUS MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (CMDTCS)
    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).

    Is DTC U3006:16 or U3006:17 present? 

    1. Yes: REFER to: ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) AND STABILITY CONTROL .
    2. No: GO to L3 
  3. L3 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
    • Ignition ON.
    • Perform Network Test.

    Does the IPC module pass the network test? 

    1. Yes: GO to L4 
    2. No: REFER to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
  4. L4 CHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) U0155 SET IN OTHER MODULES
    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).

    Is DTC U0155 present in other modules? 

    1. Yes: INSTALL a new IPC.

      REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .

    2. No: The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
