Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The BJB provides battery and ignition voltage to the TCM. If the system voltage is too low, too high or out of range during the self-test, the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) may set.

DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
P0702 Transmission Control System Electrical This DTC sets along with P0882 and P0883.
P0882 TCM Power Input Signal Low TCM battery voltage is less than 9 volts.
P0883 TCM Power Input Signal High TCM battery voltage is greater than 18 volts.
P0884 TCM Power Input Signal Intermittent TCM detects an intermittent input signal fault.
P1397 System Voltage Out Of Self-Test Range System voltage outside of the self-test range during the KOEO or KOER self-test.
