Cylinder Head: Assembly

NOTE: If installing the original valves, make sure the valves are installed in the same position from which they were removed. Coat the valve stems with clean engine oil.

Apply the specified lubricant to the specified component.
Material : Motorcraft® SAE 5W-30 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-QSP (WSS-M2C946-A)
Apply the specified lubricant to the specified component.
Special Tool(s) : 303-470 (Installer, Valve Stem Oil Seal)

Material : Motorcraft® SAE 5W-30 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-QSP (WSS-M2C946-A)

NOTE: Use a small screwdriver and multi-purpose grease to install the valve collects. Check the seating of the valve collet.

Special Tool(s) : 303-300 (Set, Valve Spring Compressor) , 303-350 (Compressor, Valve Spring) , 303-472 (Adapter, Valve Spring Compressor) , 303-1249 (Valve Spring Compressor)
Material : Multi-Purpose Grease / Motorcraft® XL-5 (aerosol) and/or CRC® SL3151 (ESB-M1C93-B)
Torque : 11 Nm
