All dimmable illumination (networked and non-networked sources) does not dim or increase brightness	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test G
The start/stop switch illumination is inoperative or always on (vehicles with Intelligent Access [IA])	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test F
The window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - without door modules (without window one-touch up)	Wiring, terminals or connectors Window control switch	VERIFY the operation of the power windows. If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to: FRONT DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . or REFER to: REAR DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . If the power windows do not operate correctly, REFER to: GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
The LH front window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - with door modules (with window one-touch up)	Window control switch	VERIFY the operation of the power windows. If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to: FRONT DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . If the power windows do not operate correctly, REFER to: GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
The RH front, RH rear or LH rear window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - with door modules (with window one-touch up)	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test E
All dimmable non-networked illumination is inoperative (networked illumination functions correctly)	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test A

The steering wheel switch (es) illumination is inoperative	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test C
All dimmable non-networked illumination is always on (networked illumination functions correctly)	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test B
The IPC illumination is inoperative/does not dim	IPC	PERFORM a network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the IPC, REFER to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION . If the scan tool communicates with the IPC, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
The ICM illumination is inoperative or always on	REFER to Pinpoint Tests	GO to Pinpoint Test H
The FCIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	FCIM	For base/premium audio, GO to Pinpoint Test D For Sony® sound, CHECK for normal operation of the audio system. If the audio system operates correctly, INSTALL a new FCIM. REFER to: FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM) (Vehicles With: SYNC/Sony AM/FM/CD) . If the audio system does not operate correctly, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (Vehicles With: SYNC/Sony AM/FM/CD) .
The FCDIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	FCDIM	CHECK for normal operation of the audio system. If the audio system operates correctly, INSTALL a new FCDIM . REFER to: FRONT CONTROL/DISPLAY INTERFACE MODULE (FCDIM) (Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC) . If the audio system does not operate correctly, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD) . or REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (AM/FM/CD/SYNC) .
The FDIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	APIM	CHECK for normal operation of the audio system. If the audio system operates correctly, INSTALL a new APIM. REFER to: ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE (APIM) (Vehicles With: SYNC/Sony AM/FM/CD) . If the audio system does not operate correctly, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (Vehicles With: SYNC/Sony AM/FM/CD) .
The HVAC (with Dual Automatic Temperature Control [DATC]) illumination is inoperative/does not dim	HVAC module	PERFORM a network test. If the scan tool communicate with the HVAC module, INSTALL a new HVAC module. REFER to: HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) CONTROL MODULE . If the scan tool does not communicate with the HVAC module, REFER to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
